Frequently Asked Questions

When should I begin learning about Medicare?

It is helpful to begin several months before turning 65 or before leaving employer-sponsored coverage. Starting early gives you more time to understand your enrollment timeline and available options.

Am I automatically enrolled in Medicare?

Some people are enrolled automatically, while others must sign up. Your situation may depend on whether you already receive Social Security or Railroad Retirement Board benefits.

Can I keep my doctors?

Provider access depends on the type of coverage and the specific plan. We can help you check whether your preferred doctors and healthcare facilities participate in a plan’s network.

Does Medicare cover prescription medications?

Original Medicare does not generally include outpatient prescription drug coverage. You may obtain coverage through a stand-alone Part D plan or a Medicare Advantage plan that includes prescription drug benefits.

Can I review my coverage even if I already have Medicare?

Yes. Your healthcare needs, prescriptions, plan coverage, and costs may change. Reviewing your coverage can help you understand if it still supports your current needs.

Is there a cost to speak with your team?

There is no cost for a Medicare consultation with our team.
